General Rules

You are an adult and as such are expected to act like one. YOU are responsible for your actions alone and no one is going to babysit you. This means reading the rules and knowing what lines not to cross. Ignorance is not an excuse.

Metagaming is against the rules of the sim. Metagaming is defined as using OOC (out of character) information IC (in character). This can be accidental, however more often than not it is purposeful. !REMEMBER! If your character doesn’t know it IC, then you cannot use it in IC interactions.

Powergaming is against the rules of the sim. Powergaming is defined as gaining power to the exclusion of and detriment to storytelling, fair sportsmanship, atmosphere, comradery, and fun of other players. !REMEMBER! Your character isn’t the only one in the story, please allow others to shine as well. This is a joint effort, not a one-man-show.

Godmodding is against the rules of the sim. Godmodding is defined as roleplaying as an invincible force of nature either by roleplaying taking no hits or hits having minimal effect as well as, roleplaying that every attack they do automatically hits or roleplay they automatically win a situation by sheer force of will. !REMEMBER! You are not invincible nor are you all powerful. Your character is just as mortal as you are and you should roleplay as such. All attacks and manipulations are ATTEMPTS, and should be rolled and acted out accordingly.

Be mindful about your avatar’s script time and complexity. If you are unaware of these terms, ask a Moderator about it. As a general guidance, each avatar should use less than 70 scripts, 160ms of Script Time, and be under 150.000 in terms of complexity.

Sexual animations are only allowed in private rentals or in the Arie Club or Bathhouses. Erotic roleplay which involves heavy explicit content are only allowed in private messages so as not to disturb others and avoid trolling.

Player arrests for nudity or other light offenses must be done in-character by another active player.

Keep OOC chat to a minimum while on roleplay areas, use private messages instead. Please keep breaking of the fourth wall to a minimum.

Please **DO NOT** sit afk or ooc in RP areas. You may idle and afk in the LZ ONLY.

Understand our sim specifically DOES NOT Have a Consent Clause. This means that upon entering the sim and reading the rules, you consent to things happening in character that you may not like. This generally is in place to prevent consequence dodgers using their limits to prevent ICC or In Character Consequences, but also there so that people understand that, at least on our sim, things can go south quickly which CAN lead to a character facing a “Bad End” Or dying. This isn’t to say that it will be pushed on people, but rather that it is a consequence of roleplay.
